Temporary weather protection and containment for data center construction

Westgate Global provides engineered temporary weather protection, dust containment and HAC screening systems that help keep data center construction, MEP installation, interior build-out and commissioning on schedule. Our modular solutions protect critical activities from weather, contamination and sequencing delays across hyperscale, colocation and enterprise projects.

Protecting data center construction schedules

Data center construction runs on tight schedules, where weather exposure, dust and contamination can interrupt critical path activities. Temporary engineered screening creates protected work zones before the permanent building envelope is complete, helping concrete work, interior build-out and MEP installation progress earlier and through more challenging conditions.

High-seal temporary containment can also separate active construction from completed or sensitive areas, reducing dust migration around installed equipment and supporting phased turnover. For commissioning, modular containment can create temporary hot- and cold-aisle environments before permanent systems are available.

Trusted on mission-critical and data center projects

Westgate Global’s temporary screening and containment systems have been used on complex mission-critical projects for leading technology companies, manufacturers and contractors worldwide.

Why choose engineered temporary containment for data center construction

Westgate Global helps keep data center construction, interior build-out and commissioning moving. We design, engineer and install temporary weather protection, dust containment and HAC screening systems for hyperscale and enterprise facilities. From protecting exposed structures during construction to controlling dust around sensitive equipment and creating temporary hot- and cold-aisle containment for heat-load testing, our modular systems help reduce disruption, protect critical activities and keep projects on schedule.

Three ways we protect your data center project

Weather protection during shell construction

Flexiscreen™ encloses open elevations so interior work can continue before the permanent building envelope is complete. The system helps protect work from wind, rain, snow and temperature extremes while retaining heated or conditioned air. Project-specific wind-load engineering and a minimal floor footprint make it suited to fast-moving data center construction.

Dust containment during MEP and equipment installation

High-seal modular screening separates active construction from completed or sensitive areas, helping reduce airborne dust around MEP systems, white space and installed equipment. Flexiscreen can achieve more than a 99% air- and dust-tight seal and ISO Class 7 conditions where required.

HAC screens for commissioning and heat-load testing

Relocatable modular screens can create temporary hot- and cold-aisle containment before permanent systems are installed, allowing controlled heat-load testing and phased commissioning while protecting finished white space.

Why choose Westgate Global?

Westgate Global specialises in temporary weather protection and environmental containment for complex construction environments where schedule, safety and operational continuity matter.

Our teams support projects from early planning and engineering through installation and reconfiguration, providing systems designed around the actual construction sequence rather than a one-size-fits-all temporary barrier.

For data center contractors, this means a partner who understands the impact weather exposure, dust, limited space and phased construction can have on the critical path – and who can adapt the solution as the project progresses.
